Hello all,
I hope the approaching holiday season finds you well. Sadly, I have to share with you some bad news.Jason Frobose, arguably one of the best referees that we get to work with regularly in Jeffco, has fallen victim to a sudden brain aneurysm this past weekend. The fact that he is young and physically fit (mainly from running after all the soccer players he referees from HS to the Collegiate ranks) contributed to his survival. He just today emerged from surgery but has not yet awoken. He may not awaken for weeks, but when he does, that’s when the true depth of his injuries will be revealed. His wife and two daughters are in complete disarray and reeling from the shock. Additionally the financial burden is mounting and the healthcare program they’re on is less than sufficient.
So if you’re able and willing and would like to help the Frobose-Snowden Family out, please let me know. I’ve been trying to think of how to best collect funds, and the best bet may just be to mail or pony (this is JEFFCO interschool mail system) gift cards and/or checks to CSH for amounts that you deem appropriate. Anything helps I would also entertain using paypal if that’s easier for you.
