Wednesday WisdomLast night during the Way of Champions virtual session, John O’Sullivan and Jerry Lynch discussed the importance of creating a “Powerful Environment centered around the Athlete”.
In the discussion they mentioned we all have the power to create the right environment despite the current circumstances. It is important and it is okay for us as coaches to be demanding and hold our teams to a high level of accountability throughout the quarantine period. As Jerry said. “each athlete is a seed and we have to nurture the soil around them to help them grow”. The more we can influence the environment, the more say/impact our athletes will have in the outcome when all of this is over. This will make us better and we will get through it!
